Ted Evans
ted_evans_small (Director Emeritus) Ted, after graduating from Wheaton College and Covenant Theological Seminary, eventually settled in Toledo, Ohio in 1974. There he began to work with a small group of believers who were meeting in a home. A church took form and grew to number several hundred. As it has grown, it has branched out to become five healthy congregations serving the greater Toledo metropolitan area.

In 1991 Ted and his family relocated to Mansfield, Ohio, where he is helped strengthen the River of Life Community Church in nearby Butler, Ohio.  Ted has traveled extensively and is a director of Apostolic Team Ministries (ATM), a church-planting ministry. Over the years, he has been instrumental in directly establishing or supportively aiding a number of churches in Ohio and the states of the Great Lakes Basin. More recently he has traveled overseas to encourage churches in Russia, Germany and Kenya.

As a speaker, Ted is known as an encourager who challenges the saints to be all that the Lord has gifted them to be and to do all that the Lord has called them to do. He has a true desire to help people function effectively as Christ's Body, the church, and to stir them to fulfill Christ's gospel mandate in the earth.

Ted and his wife, Mary, have four children. Their oldest daughter, Leah Hand, graduated from Goshen College School of Nursing, is married, and lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband, Craig, and their three children. Their second daughter, Abi Howe, lives with her husband, Josh, in Mansfield. Their son, Chris, attends Lee University and their daughter, Ellie, attends the University of Toledo. Currently, Ted is working on his doctorate at Ashland Theological Seminary.
