If relationships are not defined specifically and practically, they tend to be vague, confusing, and non-productive. Many networks have laid out certain criteria for the churches that relate within their particular network. The criterion differs from network to network.
An ATM-related church is:
A church that has been planted or adopted by ATM through an apostolic representative. It became an ATM church by recommendation of its apostolic representative and by its own choice to affiliate with ATM.
An ATM-Related individual is:
A person who has become a member of ATM through an apostolic representative. They became a member by the recommendation of the apostolic representative and by their own choice to affiliate with ATM.

Supports the work of ATM with:
A. Finances:
1. Churches are encouraged to give a tithe of the tithe to missions. That tithe should include a substantial portion to ATM. For churches established and joining ATM, we encourage transitions to the support of ATM to, at least, 5%. This, we recognize, is a process. For churches planted by ATM, we look for the full tithe to come to ATM since many have given in the network to bring them into existence.
2. For individuals, we would require they tithe to their home church and, in addition, give 1% of their income to ATM.
B. Manpower
1. Regular attendance at conferences and participation in regional activities is encouraged for all the elders of all the churches. Relationships are developed and maintained in such settings.
2. Encouraging members of the churches to be involved in Short-Term Missions and church plants regionally?churches helping sister churches; and releasing people to ministry, nationally and internationally.
3. Individual members are encouraged to avail themselves of conferences and leadership meetings to report on their work and keep relationships strong.
4. It is expected that individual members with extra- local ministries will encourage all new church plants under their covering to affiliate with ATM so that they might enjoy the benefits of membership as well.
C. Prayer
1. Churches are encouraged to keep the church planting vision as a part of regular intercession and prayer.
2. Communicating prayer needs of network scope or emergency needs to the other churches through the ATM Website.
3. Regular prayer for the directors, apostolic council, extra local ministries, and eldership teams throughout the network
