This new generation will have to be a people who do not care what the world thinks. Being irrelevant will be their calling card. They will be world changers because the world does not have a grip on them. This new generation will have to be free thinkers in order to set themselves free from the bondages of humanism and other philosophies that poison the soul.

Time to Plan a Legacy

Every person has an internal drive to leave their mark on this world and leave a lasting legacy.  God himself in His nature wants His name to be known and His glory to be shown.  Are we so different?  We are made in HIS image after all.  I have yet to meet anyone that likes to lose at anything!  We long for success and glory, however, unlike God our motives tend to be self-centered.

Let's Face It!

We avoid. We run. We refuse calls. We are silent. We are avoiding the obvious. We ignore the elephant in the room even though it is huge and smelly.

Problems do not go away just because we pretend they are not there. In fact, the problem gets worse when ignored. Disobedience is emboldened, rebellion is encouraged from tacit silence.

We have been pretending that it is business as usual, even though we are in the midst of some drastic changes. The Charismatic movement is over, emphatically over. Let’s face it, it is gone, done, caput. It is time to put it in the history book and move on. We can celebrate the history and the joys, but, come on, it is over.

Revolution or Revival
I do not know about you, but for me, I am tired of the constant talk about revival. I do not want revival, I want revolution. I do not think we need to pump up, prop up, or pretend what has been. It has run its course and something new is needed.
There is a subtle wind starting to blow. It will gain momentum and it will bring change. It will not be a regurgitating of what has been in the last few decades, but something that will bring dramatic change to the face of the church.
It is time for some new wine and some new wineskins to hold the move of God.
